| jugs with antler handles Each jug is created around a specific antler from the time I first start. I use stoneware clay to make them durable and tough, creating a shape that compliments the form of the antler that I am using, ensuring balanced and even pouring. I compound all of my own glazes, they are food safe and durable. I glaze the interior of the jugs with a special glaze to prevent crazing on the interior surfaces. The handles are attached with rawhide, and will need to be hand washed. The rawhide itself may be quickly washed and rinsed with soapy warm water, but DO NOT SOAK in water, as it will soften the rawhide.
