I use stoneware clay to make these teapots durable and tough, creating a shape that compliments balance, even weight distribution, and ease of pouring I compound all of my own glazes, they are food safe and durable. All pieces without rawhide, wood or antler are microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe. Any wood and rawhide adornments may be quickly washed and rinsed with soapy warm water, but DO NOT SOAK in water, as it will soften the rawhide. Dry well as soon as you are finished rinsing them off. Copper lids are designed to gain patina as they age, so do not scrub and polish on them UNLESS you want a shiny, plain copper colored lid! |
